With an e-commerce block, you can easily integrate your online store into your landing page to make it easier for customers to find your products. The e-commerce block is highly customizable, allowing you to choose whether you want rounded corners, which colors you want, an icon on the button, and what it should say on the button - for example "read more", or simply "buy".

How to do it

This guide applies if you have a WooCommerce-based online store. If you use another platform, you can check the related articles.

1. Go to the Content tab, scroll to the bottom, and click New block. Click the new block, choose E-commerce, and then WooCommerce.
2. In the next step, you need to enter your store’s web address, for example yourstore.com, and a pair of API keys from your store. These are used to communicate between länk.bio and the store. Please note that you need at least WooCommerce version 3.5 and at least WordPress version 4.4.
3. To create API keys, go to the store’s admin interface (this may be yourstore.com/wp-admin). Hover over WooCommerce in the side menu, and click Settings.
4. Go to the Advanced tab and then REST API in the submenu. Click Create an API key. Here you should enter a description. It can be anything, but you should write länk.bio or something similar just so you know what it is used for. You only need to grant read permissions. We will not edit any products in your online store, and we do not want to be able to do that either.
5. Then copy the Consumer key, which starts with CK, and paste it into länk.bio. Do the same with the Consumer secret, which starts with CS.
6. In the next step, choose one of the store’s collections or categories. This is the category from which länk.bio will fetch products.
   • Tip: If you choose a category with a very large number of products, loading will take a long time, so we recommend creating a new category/collection specifically for this purpose.
   • If you created a new category during the setup process, you need to click the "Reload collections" button. Your new category will appear in the menu list.
7. Once länk.bio has imported your products, you can choose to place a badge on them to show that a product is on sale or is a new item, for example. You can also untick products that you do not want to include or display.

That’s it! Your products are now visible on your landing page. Good luck with your sales.

Automatic updates

Your WooCommerce block is updated automatically once every hour. If you change the product name or price, this will also be updated on the landing page within an hour. If you remove a product from the online store, it will also disappear from the landing page.

If you want to add a product to the same category used by länk.bio, you can do that. When the automatic update runs, new products in the selected category will automatically be added to the landing page.
