Add icons

It is possible to add icons to text blocks to further enhance or highlight a piece of text or a call to action on your landing page. For example, if you add a text block before an Instagram block, it could look like this:

How to do it

Länk.bio uses an icon library called FontAwesome. It contains thousands of icons to choose from, and you can find them all here: https://fontawesome.com/v6/search?o=r&m=free.

Keep in mind that you should use English search terms when looking for an icon, for example "camera" or "star". Once you have found the icon you want, click on it and copy the HTML code, for example this:
<i class="fa-solid fa-earth-oceania"></i>

Then go to the Content tab in the control panel, select or create your text block, and then open the block’s HTML editor. There is an icon in the toolbar above the text area that looks like this: </>. Then paste the HTML code you copied from FontAwesome.

My icon still does not appear, or it only shows as a square

It may be that you copied an icon from a different version of FontAwesome than the one we use. Try using a different icon. In many cases, there are several different variations of roughly the same icon. Otherwise, you are welcome to contact us and we will be happy to help.
